CEO

Tiny Island Productions (Pte.Ltd.)

Under founder David Kwok’s leadership as CEO, Tiny Island Productions has become Singapore's leading stereoscopic 3D animation studio. Established in 2002, the company creates, manages and markets high-quality content for the global CG animation market.

Tiny Island has most notably worked with international distributor Classic Media (now DreamWorks Classic) and Thai studio Shellhut Entertainment on CGI series Shelldon, which aired on major networks including NBC in the US and France 5.

Its signature stereoscopic 3D series, Dream Defenders, has made its American debut on 3net (a 24/7 3D channel run as a joint-venture by Sony, Discovery and IMAX) and Hulu. The show has also aired in more than 60 other countries and won a 2013 Asia Image Apollo Award for Best 3D Animation.

Tiny Island’s earlier work includes a development deal with LA-based Saban Entertainment Group (SEG), and a Ben 10 CGI TV movie in both standard and stereoscopic 3D formats for Cartoon Network, which won Best 3D Animated Program at the 2012 Asian Television Awards and a PROMAX Gold Award for Best Movie Campaign the same year.

In July 2013, the company signed the first-ever animation co-production deal between Singapore and South Korea. Together, Tiny Island and Bucheon, Korea’s Electric Circus are producing a CGI action-adventure series called G-Fighter (26 x 22 minutes) with support from SBA, KOCCA, EBS, SK Broadband and CJ E&M.
